We are so thrilled to have Alena as part of our family. Even though she has not been with us very long, she has become a integral part of our family. We joke that Alena picked us as much as we picked her. She is so good with our daughter Caitlin and she likes to be be a good "momma" to all of us, standing guard at the room where we are. I would like to tell everyone who is considering adoption to definitely do it and make sure that you take an extra look at the "imperfect" candidates. Alena has only 3 legs but her spirit more then makes up for her handicap. Thank you so much pets without parents!
