We adopted Cali in March of 2005. She was one of a litter of 7 puppies that were found along the road and was called Hazel at the time. She was much smaller then! Cali has a great time playing in her big backyard, barking at the squirrels and gathering twigs. (We think maybe she's part beaver because she always has a pile of twigs by our back door.) She enjoys tormenting our cat Evie -- who acts like she's bothered but is really enjoying the attention. Cali is our baby now that our 2 kids have gone off to college.  I work out of my home and she thinks her job is to close the bottom filing cabinet drawers. This has become a game to her and she comes running every time she hears a drawer open! We couldn't have picked a better addition to our family. We love her dearly and are so happy we found her at Pets Without Parents!
