This time last year I got a phone call in Hawaii from my two roommates back in Ohio that they had absolutely found the perfect dog. Trusting my roommates opinions of this great dog and rescue center, on December 31st (the very day I got back from a family Christmas trip to Hawaii) we ventured to PWP with the intention of adopting the puppy. My roommates were right and I instantly fell in love with Cohen (then named Ivan) who was just so sweet and cuddly. We took him home that day and actually left a new years eve party early in order to spend his first night with him (yes even though we are college students!!) Cohen Cooper LaFarberman (a mixture of all of our last names) is now a little over a year old and is the funniest dog I've ever met. He is so quirky and I swear he speaks his own language. He loves loves loves to cuddle and I'm not sure if he really believes he's any different than the three of us as he will make room for himself on the couch to watch T.V. He such a good watch dog and is very protective of the three of us. He knows sit shake lay and speak, and we even succeeded in training him to ring a bell attached to a door every time he has to go outside. He's great and brings so much energy to our lives.

On a even more exciting and ironic note while at a park near our apartment a few months back we happened to run into a family that swore their dog acted and looked exactly like Cohen. Turns out their dog (Roxy) was Cohen's sister adopted from PWP just a few days before we found Cohen. The two met and got along great. They looked identical and we actually had a hard time catching the two and separating them. lol Thanks PWP for giving us the best addition to our apartment and we'll continue to keep you in mind when when others talk about adopting.  :)
