Our family met Milford as volunteer dog-walkers in May of 2004. My
husband and I fell in love with him right away and talked about
adopting him. The Saturday after we met him, we decided to go in and
fill out an adoption application but he had already been adopted by
someone else! We were disappointed but happy that he had found a home.
Less than a week later, we came to volunteer one day and found Milford
back in his crate! My heart practically jumped up my throat when I saw
him and we immediately filled out the adoption paperwork.
Since he has come home with us, Milford has been nothing but a total
joy and wonderful companion. He is a playful puppy at heart, but knows
when to be gentle with our son and well-behaved around guests. He's
made friends with our cat and the neighborhood dogs, and even
completed a training program! We couldn't be happier with him and we
thank you very much for taking such good care of him while he waited
for us to find him.
